My Approach

    My Approach.

The most important part of therapy is you. As a qualifed integrative person-centred therapist, I believe your experiences are your greatest authority. They have only been lived and experienced by you. For this reason, as a therapist, I do not offer any advice or guidance on how your life should be lived. Instead, I aim to help uncover and explore your processes, thoughts and feelings which in turn can lead to self-awareness and growth. Therapy can often be challenging and requires hard work in and out of the sessions. As your therapist, I am here to support you through all of the challenges and difficulties that may arise.

I aim to provide a safe, welcoming non-judgemental space that gives room to all parts of your identity and being, parts which may have been hidden so deeply from yourself. It is in this way that we learn about ourselves and our processes.

There is also no one size fits all in therapy. What many work for one client, may not necessarily work for you. This is why it is important I provide an integrative approach to ensure your needs are catered for.

In our first session, I will aim to understand your needs, goals and expectations of therapy and try to meet these to ensure you receive sessions which will benefit you in the best possible manner. I am committed to providing you with a safe and welcoming space and I aim to walk with you through the journey of empowerment and self-discovery counselling can bring about.
